Article: Break from Training didn’t Face Peirsol
In practice, Peirsol has unique ways of finding more competition. Eddie Reese, UT coach and 2004 Olympic coach, said when Peirsol trains and gets too far ahead of other backstrokers, he’ll race the freestyle swimmers on his back.
